Mar por la tarde
Altos muros del agua, torres altas,
aguas de pronto negras contra nada,
impenetrables, verdes, grises aguas,
aguas de pronto blancas, deslumbradas.
Desnudo mar, sediento mar de mares,
hondo de estrellas si de espumas alto,
prófugo blanco de prisión marina que
en estelares límites revienta,
¿qué memorias, deseos prisioneros,
encienden en tu piel sus verdes llamas?
En ti te precipitas, te levantas
contra ti y ti mismo nunca escapas.
Tiempo que se congela o se despeña,
tiempo que es mar y mar que es lunar témpano,
madre furiosa, inmensa res hendida
y tiempo que se come las entrañas.
